/ 01THE APPROACH

Not isolated topics — connections.

My keynotes are not about chasing isolated health trends — they're about building a deeper understanding of how everything interacts. Sleep, stress, nutrition, training, load and recovery all influence each other.

Health and performance are never one-dimensional — everything affects everything else.
What matters is not just whether something is generally good, but for whom, when, and at what dose.
Surface-level knowledge is rarely enough when it comes to health and recovery.
The dose makes the poison — a principle that is consistently underestimated in practice.
/ 02FOR WHOM

The keynote is designed for three audiences.

Depending on the context and audience, I tailor the focus, examples and depth individually.

Companies & Teams

Organisations

For companies that want to raise awareness among their employees about health, resilience, recovery and long-term performance.

Sports Clubs

Clubs & Coaches

For clubs, coaches and athletes who want to better understand performance, load management, recovery and physical robustness.

High Performers

Executives & High Performers

For people under high professional or athletic demands who don't want to simply "do more" — but to manage smarter.

/ 03CONTENTS

What the keynote covers.

Six topic areas that build on each other and provide a complete picture of the performance system.

01

Understanding Your Current State

Why real improvement only begins once you accurately assess where you actually stand.

02

Interpreting Blood Diagnostics

The role blood markers can play, where their limits lie — and why interpretation should always involve a physician.

03

Load and Dosage

Why the dose makes the poison. Why more is not automatically better. And why the devil is often in the detail.

04

How the Body Adapts

How the body responds to stress, why it can adapt, and what conditions must be met for that to happen.

05

Recovery as a Performance Factor

Why recovery is not a luxury — it is a prerequisite for performance, health and resilience.

06

Real-World Examples from Sport and Life

Concrete examples from high-demand environments, elite sport and everyday life that make complex connections tangible.

/ 04THE OUTCOME

What attendees take away.

After the keynote, attendees understand the key connections — and can apply them in their daily lives.

Why it's not the load that counts, but above all its correct dosage
Why more training, more discipline or more willpower don't automatically lead to better results
How the body responds to stress, training, sleep deprivation and recovery deficits
The real role of recovery, sleep, nutrition and load management
How blood markers can be meaningfully interpreted — always in consultation with a physician
How to evaluate supplements sensibly — and when they are overrated
Why fundamentals matter more than trends
Why the body is a remarkable adaptation machine — when given time, the right building blocks and the right stimuli
/ 05WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

More than a keynote.

Many health keynotes are either too generic, too theoretical or too one-sided. This keynote exposes common misconceptions, makes connections understandable and delivers practical impulses for everyday life.

Understanding load and performance as an interconnected system

Evidence-based knowledge on training, recovery and nutrition

Practical delivery — not pure theory

Examples from elite sport, high-demand environments and real professional life

A view of the human being as a complete system — not a collection of isolated factors

Why me?

I combine personal experience from decades of high-demand work, athletic practice and solid training in performance coaching, recovery, nutrition and load management.

Since childhood I have trained intensively, made many mistakes, experienced injuries, questioned approaches and kept learning over the years. It is precisely this practical experience that makes the difference.

Not theoretical knowledge alone, but its meaningful interpretation and translation into real-world life is what sits at the centre of everything I do.

/ 06BACKGROUND

Over 20 years of experience — from the field.

For over 20 years I have worked as a trainer and advisor to a special operations unit with people who must perform under extreme pressure — and in that time I have competed in sport myself and learned from Europe's leading experts.

My keynotes are for people who don't want a superficial take on health and performance — but one that is understandable, evidence-based and actionable.

Dr. Gottlob Institute — Strength Training & Back Health (leading expert in Europe)

Dr. Stuart McGill — Core Stability & Back (University of Waterloo, Canada)

Health Coach Training with Dr. Osterhaus, Munich
